Hey team! My name is Amanda and I am one of your leaders for the summer! I am incredibly excited to start this adventure with you that the Lord has called us on for the summer. I live in Austin, Texas and I am working on finishing my degree in Nursing at the University of Texas – after many years of following the less than expected pat that the Lord has taken me on. I have lived in Austin for most of my life and love living in Texas.
I am the youngest in my family, and I love my parents and siblings a lot, and I am going to be an aunt for the first time this summer while we are in Swaziland. The Lord called me to missions about 2 years ago, and since that point I have been on wonderful, crazy and unexpected ride that has led me to Swaziland this summer.
I love adventure, and I think that the Lord has called us to a life that is epic and that is not to be lived sitting down, and I am blessed to be able to be a part of a small part of this adventure that the Lord is guiding!
