Chelsea Froemke

 

      Hello! My name is Chelsea Froemke and I am currently a freshman at Bemidji State University, way up in the northland of Minnesota. I am originally from Lino Lake MN which is about a half hour north of the Twin Cities. I love spending time outdoors canoeing, snowboarding, biking, swimming, and hiking. Last summer I worked at Wilderness Canoe Base, which is in the boundary water canoe area. I’m also involved with quite a few things around campus including the female track team, Students Today Leaders Forever, Lutheran Campus Ministry and Lutheran Student Movement, and I tutor for the Upward Bound Program. I really enjoy Christian music and I love attending concerts and playing guitar. Most importantly I love spending quality time with family, friends, and my heavenly father!  I have a heart for serving others.  I have been on two mission trips to Guatemala and have dreamed about serving God’s children in africa for over nine years.  I am very excited that this dream is finally coming true!
