Hi! I’m not sure how to start this, so i’ll just jump right into it…
I live in Colorado, and I’m finally at a point where i realize just what a beautiful place it is! I was born in CA but moved when i was three; i don’t remember much except that when we got here, our house was bright red (its now blue). People ask, so i’ll tell you: i’m half Japanese and half Sri Lankan. its sweet! My parents are both followers of Christ and did a tremendous job of raising me and my older sister! Growing up in a christian home, i went to every church activity known to mankind, but it took my heart till high school to really begin to see. I love God…i live for Him now, and I’ve learned that when you live for yourself, its extremely empty and pointless. I love music….playing, writing, just listening to it, you name it. I play piano mostly (was in a band for a couple years), taught myself a little bit of guitar, and I sing. I love techno, rock, death metal (sometimes), acoustic stuff, and worship music. And a lot more too…just mostly NEVER rap or country. I love hiking, rock climbing-ish, camping, and climbing trees, all thanks to beautiful Colorado. Have you ever been to the top of a mountain? When I’m up there, God is so evident…I’ve never been to the top of a mountain and not felt Him right next to me. I love the rain, fast cars, sunsets, sleeping under the stars, spontaneous worship moments on hikes or late at night, and staying inside when it snows. um…i love photography, even though i just have a little cheapy digital, it shoots some good stuff. Some days i’ll just drive somewhere and take pictures, just me and God. He created some gorgeous stuff, didn’t He?
What else? My dream is to be in Medical Missions. I’m going to college at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) and i’m dragging myself through Nursing school there…its tough and yet I love it more than I thought possible. I work at a local coffee shop, and i absolutely love it. What else do i love? I love my friends. I hope with all my heart that we’ll be friends for a long time…they are quite honestly the coolest group of kids you’ll ever meet. I love going to concerts, i mosh…well. I try. (Sometimes people won’t let me because they think I’m too small!!) I love to eat, sleep, and run. I’m terrible at running, but I do it sometimes anyway. I love writing; i write all the time. Mostly songs. I tend to think awkward things are hilarious, like poop…as an example. The place I feel the most at home is when i’m in the mission field. I’m not crazy outgoing, but I can be sometimes. I recently found out that meeting people is one of the most amazing experiences ever, and I love just talking. High school i kept quiet, but not anymore. I LOVE being who I am! I keep myself plugged into church stuff ALL the time, not because I have to; because i want to. I’m not sure what else is really important. All that stuff up there is a bunch of random things about me…i think i covered most of it!
