Hey Everybody. It took a long time to get everything figured out but I’m here now. My name’s Zech Doran, you say it like Zack Dorin just so we’re clear. I’m 19, will be 20 by the time we all meet, and I’m a sophomore at Simpson University in Redding, CA, which judging by where you all are from you probably have never heard of the school or city before. I’m majoring in Bible & Theology with a Theology emphasis and World Missions minor. I hope to go into the mission field after I graduate, so this trip is kind of a precursor for me. I grew up in a small town in Oregon. Over the last couple of years it’s worked out that my immediate family have all migrated south to Arizona. I was raised in a Christian home and spent the majority of my life in the same church, which I still have strong ties to. I am an outdoors person, I like hiking, camping, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and all that good stuff. I’m really into sports and like to play/watch basketball, football, golf(playing not watching), baseball, soccer(more partial to watching), etc. I also really like to read, watch movies, listen to music(very picky about my music but it is wide ranging), play video games on occasion, traveling is great, sleep is good, just your normal kind of stuff really. A lot of people would call me a shy person(I really don’t like the word shy), but once I get to know you well enough it’s not a problem. This is a pretty surface level, poorly written, description of me but it’s a start. I’m really looking forward to this trip and the opportunity to work with you fellow men and women of God.
