So as you all can see my name is Anna Lane. I am SO very excited about this opportunity God has given us all to be used by Him in Swaziland! I don’t feel like I have much of an interesting history to tell you all about myself, but here it goes. I was born and raised in Vermont, so I’m a true Yankee 😉 I’ve grown up in a Christian home with wonderful parents and an older brother and sister. Before my junior year in high school we decided to move to Raleigh, North Carolina. This ended up being a great experience for me even though I wasn’t very excited about it to begin with. Now I go to Appalachian State University (the team who beat Michigan last year in football!!). I’m a sophomore and I am majoring in Social Work which I absolutely love. In school I never really enjoyed any of my subjects so I thought I was screwed. But I realized how much I love people, and helping them out, which is exactly what Social Work is praise God!
Basically I love the little things in life. I love mini things, things that are clear, and snuggling. I absolutely am in love with nature and am said to be a “clean” hippie. One of my goals is to be able to enjoy all the little things, and big that God blesses us with each day to the very fullest! I also want to be able to bring encouragement to those around me by truly being an example of God’s love and not just a nice person love. I’ve made tons of mistakes in life but God keeps on teaching me more and more about His great love and grace through them all. I don’t really know what else to say except I am so excited to meet you guys and share in God’s awesomeness together!
