My name is Edie Shrader. I am a 19 year old student at Colorado Christian University and majoring in Elementary Education. I was born and raised in Colorado. The three most important people in my life are my mom, my little sister (Emily), and my little brother (Alex). In high school I went to Warren Tech where I was enrolled in their hairstyling/ cosmetology program. Once I finished the program at Warren Tech, I went to Silver State Christian School where I later graduated in a class of 9. Besides school, I spend a lot of my time in the summer at my family’s business, a racetrack. If I am not working or helping out my family, you can find me behind the wheel of some kind of car racing. I am also interested riding anything with a motor like dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and motorcycles. If you can’t find me there you may find me shopping or hanging out with my roommates/friends. Anyway, I have pretty much always known I wanted to be a missionary, because it involves two of my favorite things- traveling and spreading the love of Christ.
